The Gothic Stained Glass Windows

Gothic Windows at the Starksboro Village Meeting House Gothic Windows at the Starksboro Village Meeting House

Sometime between 1916 and 1919 the shutters and clear glass windows were replaced by opalescent stained glass.
The stained glass windows were given in memory of deceased members of the congregation, many of whom were descendants of Starksboro's earliest settlers. Their names are painted in black on the bottom glass pane in each of the lower sashes.
