The Starksboro Village Meeting House Board
The board was established in 1974 to carry on the vision of the town residents who rescued it in 1957. The board operates as a non-profit organization to operate, preserve, and promote the use the Meeting House as a community building.
Today, the Meeting House is cared for by an eleven person board dedicated to preserving the building and providing Starksboro with space for community activities. The building is at the center of the village and is a vital part of the unique village scape of Starksboro.
Under the care of the Board, the Meeting House was registered on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.
