My Great Grandfather James E Thompson was born in Starksboro on 3/13/1887
His Wife My Great Grandmother Louise H Smith was born in Starksboro on 5/10/1894
When I try to research further back I keep getting confused. It seems on both James E and Louise H branches there are many marriages between Thompsons and Smiths and many duplicate first names as well.
Their daughter, My Grandmother Malvina A Thompson was born in Starksboro on 7/11/1934. She recently passed away (In MA.Will be cremated and laid to rest in Bourne National Cemetery))
I am going to Starksboro (From Worcester MA) to adopt a tree at a maple farm in her honor. While I am there I was hoping to visit her parents and siblings graves if possible. (I'm not sure if they were even buried there but I would visit even her grandparents graves if I could figure out who and where.)
Also, My grandmother was one of apx 18 births many of which were still born. One of her siblings died as a toddler. The place on all the birth certificates including my grandmothers is blank where it says if born in a hospital which one. I am wondering if these people might be buried in a cemetery or if back then they might have been put in a yard of a home where they were born???
How can I find out where in Starksboro these families might have lived and been buried?
I can not pay for ancestry.com I have been using familysearch.org but not getting all the answers I am looking for.
Does anyone have any information that might be helpful to me?
