What are the Benefits of Parental Involvement? Through sharing their child's school experience, parents will gain a better understanding of how their child interacts with other children, how their child learns, and what their child's strengths are. We are able to offer the lowest preschool tuition in Addison County. Reduced costs are made possible because parents contribute their time and efforts in the classroom; participate in fund-raising events; and work at jobs to help the preschool run smoothly. Parental involvement is key to a child's educational success. A child in the Starksboro Cooperative Preschool will enjoy a great amount of individualized attention with an excellent child to teacher ratio of 4:1 or better.
Parent Responsibilities at the Starksboro Cooperative Preschool Attend parent meetings. Work as a parent-aide in the classroom six times per year. Be available to complete a specified job, chosen by the parent at the beginning of the school year. Participate in fund-raising events throughout the year
